Upcoming Events at the New York Irish Center in LIC

Here in Long Island City we are lucky to be surrounded by a wealth of rich culture. Ours is a neighborhood built upon a sense of community and togetherness. There are few organizations that add as much to LIC as the New York Irish Center. A place where all are welcome, whether you’re Irish by blood or simply at heart, the center has been nurturing our community since 2005.

At Woodbines, we are proud of our own Irish heritage and love to work with the NY Irish Center to bring that to the community.  Located at 10-40 Jackson Avenue, the NYIC is easily accessible by the 7 train at Vernon-Jackson. They have a full roster of wonderful events this summer; read on for our picks. Be sure to stop in to Woodbines before or after the events for traditional Irish favorites like fish and chips and chicken curry.
